Impact
Good Deeds NJ connects individual acts of service to broader goals: stronger people, stronger families and stronger communities.
How impact grows
Community impact begins when residents, volunteers and institutions participate together. It grows as people develop skills, families gain access to opportunity, organizations coordinate their strengths and neighborhoods build lasting capacity.
Our work addresses immediate needs while creating pathways for leadership, collaboration and long-term progress.
Featured impact
Across three service days—July 25, August 8 and August 22—Good Deeds volunteers worked along Newark’s South Orange Avenue corridor and surrounding blocks to care for public spaces, clear storm drains and build relationships with residents, businesses and faith communities.
The final service day brought together adults and young people for neighborhood stewardship and direct community engagement.
